WHS Summer Research Fellowship — Idaho Opportunity at the Boise VA
The Wound Healing Society (WHS) is offering its national Summer Research Fellowship, and applications are open to Idaho students, including a research placement at the Boise VA Medical Center with WHS mentor Dr. Mary Cloud Ammons Anderson (wound healing research).
Application Deadline: April 15, 2026
Award: $3,000 stipend + $1,000 lab supplies + $1,000 travel grant to WHS 2026 (upon abstract acceptance)
Awards Available: Two (one reserved for a student from an underrepresented group)

Eligibility

Undergraduate, master’s, and professional students enrolled for summer 2026

Not open to PhD, combined‑degree students, residents, postdocs, or technicians

12‑week minimum research project

Mentor must be a WHS member
