The INBRE Undergraduate Research Program provides freshmen and sophomores with no research lab experience an intense, 2–4-week laboratory project in biology or molecular biology. Groups of students work together to articulate hypotheses, design experiments, and learn specific laboratory skills. This unique experience is often life-changing because it is the students’ first taste of laboratory bench research.
Network schools currently offering 2–4-week research opportunities include the College of Western Idaho, Northwest Nazarene University, and College of Eastern Idaho.
