The INBRE Scholars Program provides freshmen and sophomores with no research lab experience an intense, 2-week laboratory project in biology or molecular biology. Groups of students work together to articulate hypotheses, design experiments, and learn specific laboratory skills. The Scholar experience is often life-changing because it is the students’ first taste of laboratory bench research.
