The NWABR Honors Dr. Carolyn Hovde Bohach with the Al Thompson Award
NWABR Celebrates Students, Science and Leadership
On June 4 the NWABR community came together for their Annual Fundraising Dinner. A night of mirth, the NWABR Annual Dinner featured a rousing reception highlighting 23 Expo students, a silent auction, a dazzling (and dizzying) dessert dash and a successful Raise the Paddle. The peak of the night was when they honored the Institute for Systems Biology’s Leroy Hood, the University of Washington School of Nursing’s Susanna Cunningham, and the University of Idaho’s Dr. Carolyn Hovde Bohach (Idaho INBRE Director) with the Al Thompson Award. The Idaho INBRE Program thanks the NWABR for this article.
